  • Adam Bomb Servo Adapter Plug and Play version

    Posted on November 11, 2020July 9, 2021 by Adam

Adam Bomb Drop Instructions ( Complete Assembly)

Now Available from Dymondusa.com.  Adam Bomb servo Adapter.  For people who just want a plug n play version of the Adam Bomb, this 3D printed adapter will allow you to with just a screw driver to assemble it put an Adam Bomb on your plane with any extra channel on your receiver. No programming or special z-bends wires to fabricate. Super easy.  It will be available as a kit, ready to plug n play, or an STL file for two different types of Micro servos, an SG 90 or Dymond D-90.  It can be velcro-d, screwed on or glued to the plane as long as you have room for the small servo to stick into the wing or fuselage on the center of gravity.  An extra channel on the receiver is necessary and a momentary switch would be best. An Adam Bomb servo adapter instruction sheet is above (click instructions, template in website not to scale.  Much smaller in real life. ) and assembly video to follow.

“We will begin Bombing in 5 minutes” Ronald Reagan- or maybe you? Call or click on the Dymond to get your plane ready and let the fun begin.

  • Ideas for Adam Bomb Simulated Explosions

    bomb-ingredients
Items for making explosions in Adam Bombs look real.

Adam Bombs hiting U boat. The Adam Bomb has two  halves that clip together to form a bomb. If you put powder inside it simulates an explosion on impact.  The Adam Bomb has four clips on the inside that easily release on impact.  Most of the energy gets dissipated and then the bomb can then be reused. Soft grass will make them last longest, but usually a few high altitude drops on asphalt will cause the tip to split a little so be careful where you place you targets. Continue reading →

  • Adam Bomb Mechanism mounting for maximum clearance

    Posted on June 29, 2017November 18, 2022 by Adam

    Clipped off the two horns.

Updated low profile plug n play mechanism.  Available 1-1-2023

    Drill manual release

Or glue servo under mechanism.  I found either way works.

    Maximum Clearance

There are many ways to mount the mechanism. One modeler gave me this idea. I mounted the servo next to the the mechanism and used the manual release clip as the new servo horn. Just had to clip off the old horns and drill the manual release.

  • New version of plug n play

    Posted on January 4, 2017November 18, 2022 by Adam

New lower profile version of the mechanism will be available soon.  This version has no servo sticking out the back.  Literally tape or velcro on the plane, plug into a spare channel and go bombing.

  • Bomb Bay of B-17 airplane

    Target below “look out”

Cut out the center Bomb Bay of a Hobby King/Jianding 72″ B-17 to hold 5 Adam Bombs.  This is the most impressive model to watch unload its eggs. Check out the video section for it in action. Though it does take modification to the existing model, there are models that can be easily modified to accommodate bombs.  The B-17 just doesn’t seem like a B-17 without this mod. • Durafly Stuka Bomb Drop Mechanism

    Posted on October 22, 2016January 4, 2017 by adm1n_rc

This an Adam Bomb mounted on a Durafly Stuka.  The tape helped to see the bomb coming down as the Stuka in a dive really sends the bomb to the target in a blink of an eye.
